The lesson plan for lesson 22 of PhonicsTutor ® Frequent Words introduces the "le" phonogram. By listing a family of words, that all contain the "le" phonogram using only words that the student can decode the students can easily decode the words. Going through eight modes of PhonicsTutor with these words ensures that they can read and spell them. By choosing the "le" phonogram early in the phonics program ensures that the student can a much larger number of word earlier rather then latter. The ordering phonograms also promote phonemic awareness and phonological processing. Phonological processing is a key component in overcome dyslexia.

The phonics lesson plans are design such that a student ages seven and up can complete in about nineteen minutes.
