The lesson plan for lesson 22 of PhonicsTutor ® Frequent Words introduces the "le" phonogram. By listing a family of words, that all contain the "le" phonogram using only words that the student can decode the students can easily decode the words. By choosing the "le" phonogram early in the phonics program ensures that the student can a much larger number of word earlier rather then latter.
